In the Company of Writing Women

I’m a little amazed at the great writing company I find myself in these days.

You can find my latest contribution at Exhale. It’s a sneak preview of sorts. My column contains the opening paragraphs from chapter one of  my book, Silent Sorority. It will finally be available in late April 2009. Much more on my bumpy journey to publication in a future post.

Meanwhile, check out the rest of Exhale‘s terrific writing and art. You can find out how to contribute from Monica. She has created a welcoming place for women to express their thoughts and emotions through words and images. As I told Monica, she is the conductor in a powerful symphony of voices.

I love the intro to your book and can’t wait to read the whole thing.

Although we are on different paths, I often feel I have more in common with you than I do people who were able to conceive their mutually genetic baby.

Thanks for keeping up the good fight.

Having just read the excerpts, I now can’t wait to get my hands on the book when it comes out!

Congratulations on securing your publishing deal!
